Design FAQ

Things to consider when you want a piece custom-made. Custom orders can be done in any size.

General:

• What’s the dominant color?
• Do you prefer sterling silver (our standard), or something else?
• Do you have a design in mind?
• What’s your budget? If it’s a gift, does the recipient have a favorite color or style?

Necklaces:

• One or more strands? Precious or semi-precious stones? Gem-quality?
• Large, chunky beads, or small, delicate ones?
• Knotting: Pearls are most often knotted, but other stones can be enhanced by knotting. It's up to the individual. Do you want your necklace knotted?
• Length: Do you prefer a nonstandard length because you're petite, tall, short, etc.? See illustration for standard necklace lengths.
• Clasps: Magnetic, toggle, and box clasps are some of the most popular choices.
