Dear friends and customers, After a great deal of thought over the past few months, I've decided to close my jewelry business. It has been an amazing experience, and one for which I'll always be grateful. There are a number of people who started out as customers, who have become dear friends, and for that alone, it's been fabulous.
Repairing, and in some cases reinventing lost and broken treasures has brought me into each of your lives in a unique way. It meant learning your stories — the sentimental value of each piece — which made the work so enriching and satisfying for me. I'm looking forward to whatever comes next, whether or not it's called "retirement!"
I'm particularly grateful to my son Greg, for his amazing work on the database that supported everything, and to Jonathan Thayer for designing my logo and website. They made quite a team! Thanks also to Jeff, for giving me his encouragement and love. And a last thank you to my customers and friends. Thank you for your enthusiasm, and for allowing me to share my love of gemstones with you.
I'm holding one last online sale through the end of January, where each item is half price; the discounted prices will appear automatically in the shopping cart. If you'd like to stop by to make a purchase in person, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
